JetPhoto is a feature-rich and easy-to-use digital photo organizing and web publishing software.

Atomix Technologies software development team in Shanghai announced their project JetPhoto at Macworld San Francisco 2005. In the past three years we have continued designing enhancements for this software . Today, AtomixTech introduces JetPhoto 2008 edition with many new ideas and designs.

JetPhoto contains a desktop software - JetPhoto Studio (for Mac/Windows), and a PHP-based web service software - JetPhoto Server. JetPhoto Studio enables users to organize photos by notes, keywords, time and location. With only several clicks, JetPhoto Studio can turn your digital photos into a fantastic Flash gallery or web gallery with a professional look. JetPhoto is also an efficient Web publisher to share your photo albums on the internet. Once a photo album is prepared on your desktop computer, by using WebSync only One-Click is needed to upload the album to your website using JetPhoto Server.

Geo-tagging

Geo-tagging is an innovative and exciting way to organize and publish digital photos.

"I always take my camera and GPS receiver with me while traveling, so I can automatically mark each picture with an accurate geographical position connecting the photo to the place it was taken. Then it's an enjoyable experience to take a virtual tour with my photos on Google Map or Google Earth. " Robin Zhang, software designer and president of AtomixTech.

Once you geotag your photos, JetPhoto Studio will take you to a map showing the photo locations, and also find and list nearby Wikipedia articles. Then you can publish your geotagged photos on the internet. Finally, JetPhoto gives you a simple and powerful way to make web galleries which link photos and GPS tracks on Google Maps!

Besides searching photos by keyword or capture time, with JetPhoto Studio you can search all photos by location. The JetPhoto 'Global Search' function enables you to group all photos taken at or near a specific location.

Web Publishing

Now, to set up a unique online gallery using JetPhoto is not difficult. If you are an artist or photographer without technical IT experience, it only takes an hour or two to become a master webmaster to manage your website independently.

"Actually, I just registered a domain name robinzhang.com and bought a web hosting plan on GoDaddy. Then spent half an hour to installed JetPhoto Server software on this web server. Now my personal website is ready. I can share my photographs with my friends and family over the internet!" Robin said.

JetPhoto server allows user to customize templates for web albums, which support multiple views, for example, thumbnail, picture story, slideshow, etc. The following new features have been added to JetPhoto Server Pro v2.0 that will work with JetPhoto Studio 2008 Edition:

- Access control for multipe editors and visitors.
- Layered categories and keywords.
- New Lightbox and Flash album templates.
- New page layout, added side menu, calendar and more.
- KML feed and Goolge Map Gallery for whole site and specified albums.
- Comments for albums, pages and files.
- Pages publishing to post your text/html contents on web.
- Files publishing to post your video, document or any media files on web.
- Flash video player.
- Panorama image viewer.
